Business Benefits of SImulation - One Day Free NAFEMS Seminar

Friday 01 July 2005 - University of Salford, Manchester

Simulation, typically by finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is well established in many engineering companies for product and process development. Tasks such as optimising products and manufacturing processes by simulation are now well proven. Nevertheless, there remains a large number of companies who are either not getting the best return from their investment in simulation technology, or are still considering investing in the technology.

Co-organiser David Deakin from Wilde FEA will be making one of the presentations.

Who Should Attend?
Senior managers & engineers responsible for the development of their company products. This seminar will be of benefit to you if you are interested in improving your product development process or if your company is already using simulation and you would like to assess if you are gaining the maximum benefit from the technology.

The Seminar will include Presentations on:
- How you can increase market share
- An overview of managing the design process
- Guidance on the availability of grants and other funding options
- A review of the history of Finite Element Analysis
- A number of case studies

Location
Harold Riley Suite, The University of Salford, Manchester.
