Wilde Events from Wilde FEA
FREE Seminar -Simulation Driven Product Development using ANSYS and AutoDesk Inventor (Inverurie)

Wednesday 15 February 2006 - Thainstone House Hotel, Inverurie

In conjunction with Imass-Scotland, Wilde FEA are holding an FREE afternoon seminar in Inverurie on 15th February to demonstrate how ANSYS FEA and CFD simulation software can reduce lead times and improve the product development process. As part of IMASS Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions Day, we will show the close integration between ANSYS and AutoDesk Inventor, including bi-directional associativity that enables the direct use of parametric CAD models.

Why Attend?

ANSYS is a leading global provider of engineering software tools used in a wide number of industries including oil & gas, process, turbo-machinery, automotive, aerospace and medical. ANSYS software integrates closely with AutoDesk Inventor for all types of applications, from the simple structural analysis of assemblies to complex multiphysics simulations involving a number of engineering disciplines. ANSYS also powers the embedded single part FEA capabilities within Inventor Professional.

Find out how the ANSYS Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics software can be successfully applied to your engineering projects. You will learn how simulation-driven product design with ANSYS and Inventor can achieve the following benefits:

* Allow simulation to be brought to the front of the design process
* Solve complex physics problems that cannot be addressed by testing
* Reduce physical prototyping and manufacturing costs
* Improve process efficiencies and product-to-market times
* Harness the power of internal/legacy software and computer resources
* Disseminate complex engineering simulation data to fellow workers and management in an easily understandable form and in industry standard file types, including Word, PowerPoint, and HTML.

Real-life case studies and software demonstrations will be included to highlight the effectiveness of ANSYS Workbench in improving your company's design process.

Who should attend?

This seminar s aimed at all engineers, scientists and researchers who are involved at a technical level in Finite Element and Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyses, and also engineering and technical managers who are tasked with increasing company productivity and optimising design processes.
