 | NAFEMS UK Conference 2008 - Engineering Simulation: Effective Use and Best Practices
Tuesday 10 June 2008 - Cheltenham
NAFEMS is an independent not-for-profit body with the sole aim of promoting the effective use of engineering simulation methods such as Finite Element Analysis, Multibody System Dynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Following on from the success of the previous event, held in 2006, the NAFEMS UK Conference 2008 will be the country's premier conference on Simulation Technology for the Engineering Analysis Community. Co-sponsored by the IMechE, BSSM and the Institute of Physics Stress and Vibration Group, it will bring together leading industrial practitioners, consultancies, academic researchers and software developers with a common interest in engineering analysis.
This two day conference will cover the current best practices and state-of-the-art in FEA and CFD and associated technologies, providing attendees with the most comprehensive overview of the technology available.
The conference aims to increase awareness and provide a discussion forum for topics that are important and relevant to engineering industrialists and academics.
Held at the Cheltenham Park Hotel in the centre of Cheltenham, the NAFEMS UK Conference 2008 is readily accessible.
Dr Brian Miller from Widle FEA will be presenting a paper entitled 'The Practical Simulation of Manufacturing Processes: Latest Technologies and Future Trends' within the Manufacturing Simulation theme of the conference.
