 | ANSYS FEA & CFD Software Solutions for Engineers & Designers
Wednesday 25 July 2007 - Sheffield
The use of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (computational fluid dynamics) in industry to perform structural, thermal and fluid analysis is rapidly increasing, becoming an ever more important activity for many companies as they strive to innovate, improve product performance and reduce design-cycle times.
This event will showcase the capabilities of the ANSYS FEA and CFD software and its advantages over competitive products. The presentations and demonstrations will address:
- Ease of Use - Productivity - Accuracy and Reliability - CAD Interoperability - Functionality - Scalability
If you are interested in implementing FEA for the first time or perhaps your current FEA capability does not offer the usability or features you require, you are most welcome to attend, whatever your application or industry.
The integration of ANSYS FEA software solutions into the ANSYS Workbench delivers a unified CAE environment to perform both FEA and CFD as well as fluid-structure-interaction analysis. If you have an interest in CFD, please note that there is a CFD event in the afternoon.
- Ease of Use Benchmarks show designers normally find ANSYS easier to use than their existing FEA software.
- Productivity An innovative user-interface, automation (e.g. automatic contact detection) and robustness combine to save time without compromising on quality.
- Accuracy and Reliability Leading mesh generation and world class solvers developed over 35 years provide one of the most accurate and trusted FEA solutions available on the market.
- CAD Interoperability Bi-directional associativity with ALL leading CAD systems enables efficient design/FE model iterations and facilitates parametric/optimisation studies including design for Six Sigma.
- Functionality ANSYS has built high levels of functionality into all of its products, overcoming many of the limitations of comparative solutions.
- Scalability ANSYS is highly modular and scalable, meeting the needs of both designers and dedicated analysts. ANSYS provides a future proof, low risk investment and optimum platform for engineering simulation.
If you are interested in attending, please email David Deakin (dmdeakin@wildefea.co.uk) to reserve your places.
