 | Product Innovation through Simulation - Free Technology Seminar
Tuesday 25 September 2007 - Durham
Time: 9:00am - 12:30pm Place: Ramside Hall Hotel & Golf Club, Durham, DH1 1TD
Overview
Wilde FEA, in conjunction with The Institute of Automotive & Manufacturing Advanced Practice (AMAP)-NEPA Digital Factory and ANSYS, invite you to learn about the latest technology trends to address business challenges faced in today's marketplace and how you need to overcome them with great success.
Simulation is well established in many engineering companies for product and process development. Tasks such as optimising products and manufacturing processes by simulation are now well proven. Nevertheless, there remains a large number of companies who are either not getting the best return from there investment in simulation technology, or are still considering investing in the technology.
High-level keynote executives from companies that are at the top of their industry will share their views on how an engineering simulation-led approach to product development fosters innovation and improves business operations.
The seminar includes presentations, and case studies that will be of interest to engineering companies who wish receive answers to questions such as:
- How will simulation change my product development process? - How can I assess if my product or process will be suitable for simulation? - How can I reduce both energy usage and waste material? - How can I reduce warranty? - How much will I need to invest? - What difference will the technology make to my business? - How will I train my staff? - Can I receive regional assistance?
Supported by the One North East regional development agency, AMAP-Nepa can provide assistance to businesses, from regional SME's to international organisations involved in design, production, plant or procurement to effectively apply digital technologies.
