The Event:
A new general purpose 3D version of the leading Plaxis geotechnical software will be released very soon with the flexibility to handle complex geometries. PLAXIS 3D enables geotechnical engineers to efficiently undertake detailed simulations of previously challenging problems, including intersecting tunnels and irregular soil layers.
With a completely new interface, this new generation design tool incorporates the renowned ease of use and accuracy from the leading developer of geotechnical FEA software. Users of PLAXIS 3D can create soil and structural models from scratch or import geometry from external CAD and sketching packages. Furthermore, the models can be easily modified in PLAXIS 3D to facilitate rapid design optimisation studies.
Wilde FEA and Plaxis bv are hosting a FREE afternoon seminar in London to coincide with this exciting new release. The seminar will comprise a mix of presentations and live demonstrations on PLAXIS 3D. In addition, it offers the opportunity for delegates to speak directly with consultants from Plaxis bv and learn about forthcoming 2D developments. To register, please select the link below.
