Wilde Events from Wilde FEA
How to Benefit from Next Generation Meshing Technology for FEA and CFD Today

Tuesday 23 March 2004 - Coventry

A FREE Seminar reviewing the latest in Advanced Meshing Technology at Sun Microsystems office, near University of Warwick campus

Have you ever spent days, weeks or even months pulling your hair out trying to create high quality meshes?

Wilde FEA are to host a FREE seminar on 23rd March focusing on the latest AI*Environment and ICEM-CFD meshing tools for FEA and CFD applications. Whether you're into FEA or CFD, our solver- independent meshing products can significantly improve your productivity when creating complex CAE models.

The theme of the seminar will be 'PREPROCESSING PRODUCTIVITY', showing how patch independent meshing technology can generate high quality tetrahedral and hexahedral meshes/grids in record time on imperfect 3D geometry. With the ability to ignore gaps, holes and slivers and also to use native CAD models via direct interfaces, analysts no longer need to waste days (or even weeks) simply creating the meshes and grids before running their computer models!

These modular software products are solver-independent, and therefore can improve the productivity of anybody involved in creating complex CAE models.

Who Should Attend the Seminar?
Anybody currently running NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANSYS, FLUENT, STAR-CD, LS-DYNA or any other numerical solver (including inhouse codes), and looking to reduce the time spent creating and fixing geometry and meshes.

Highlights of the Seminar Include:

AI*Environment - more...
For complex & demanding simulation problems that are beyond most pre/post- processing software, including very large models, poor CAD geometry & patch independent meshing requirements. Designed to be flexible & solver- neutral, some of the features include advanced hex-meshing, midplane extraction and batch surface meshing.

ICEM CFD - more...
The world's most highly used software specializing in grid generation for CFD applications. Mesh generation tools that offer the capability to parametrically create multi-block structured, unstructured hexahedral, tetrahedral and hybrid grids from geometry.

ANSYS Workbench - more...
Provides automatic meshing capability that save you time and gets the results that you need faster-especially on large complex assembly models. With parametric linking to CAD and advanced hex-dominant meshing capability to generate accurate, high quality meshes.

Paramesh - Mesh Morphing Technology
A suite of mesh morphing tools for legacy data that allow shape optimisation and rapid modifications of a design at mesh level without having to return to CAD.
