| Wilde Announce New Release of Plaxis Software - Version 9 - 13.08.2008
As one of the UK leading providers of FEM and geotechnical software, Wilde FEA Ltd are announcing the new release of Plaxis soil and rock FE analysis software. Plaxis BV continue to develop their product portfolio in collaboration with industry and academia.

Building on the solid foundation of the existing software, Version 9 will see additional modules available in both 2D and 3D options and associated technical support and special services:
* Advanced Soil Models - small strain stiffness
* Staged Construction - automatic initial stresses, pore pressures and staged construction settings
* Soil Test - triaxial soil test simulation
* Parameter Variation - analysis and sensitivity of soil and material parameters
