Software Application
PLAXIS An extremely robust program for a wide range of geotechnical applications. A range of constitutive models allow different soil types to be modelled, along with structural & interface elements for realistic representation of soil-structure interaction effects.
TALREN 4 TALREN 4 benefits from the following:

*User-friendly graphical interface for data input and for result analysis (mouse drawing, graphical displays).

*Handling of construction stages: several construction stages can be checked in the same project file.

*Automatic search option for circles.

*Wizards: curves for qs (Clouterre); predefined partial safety factors.

*Links with Plaxis V8: ability to load a Plaxis V8 geometry, and to import Plaxis V8 pore pressure meshes.

DIANA Typical applications include building and bridge design, assessment of existing structures, excavations, tunnelling, and nuclear pressure & containment vessels. It offers many advantages in the fields of concrete & soils, such as advanced material models & a built-in reinforcement pre-processor in which reinforcement can easily be defined both locally & globally. Smeared cracking, discrete cracking & reduction in prestress due to special effects can all be calculated.
CivilFEM All types of advanced civil engineering problems. Contains an extensive materials library of structural steel, reinforced steel, concrete, soils & rock models. Geotechnical capabilities include slope stability analysis, retaining walls analysis & design, automatic generation of layered soils & seepage analysis.
