Client Support
Our primary aim is to solve your problems. This will include advice on optimising your FEA:

  • The best way to define your geometry
  • What model data to use e.g. materials, boundary conditions etc.
  • How to select the most appropriate elements.
  • How to use new features introduced into the software.
  • Understanding what the different error messages mean for future self-diagnosis.

  • How to Make Support Faster!

    When requesting product support, please assist our staff by indicating the software you are using (e.g. ‘ANSYS DesignSpace’).

    It is best to be as detailed as possible when describing the problems you are having for us to diagnose them quickly. Information such as the platform that the software is being run on, the version of software being used and any error messages that you get is always useful. For many problems it is also helpful if you can send us the input file used for the analysis.

    Either explain your problem in detail or provide your contact details for us to call you back. Please attach the problem input / data files if available and not too large (please contact us first if the file is likely to be greater than 10MB).

    FTP
    You can send large files to us by FTP.
    Simply contact us for assistance if you require this service.

    Post
    We may ask you to post the problem input file or results database on a CD if it cannot be sent by email or FTP.
