ANSYS Course Information
Heat Transfer - 3 days

Engineers responsible for analysing the thermal response of structures and components, are encouraged to take this course. The course focuses on performing steady-state, transient, linear and non-linear thermal analyses. After completing the seminar, analysts should be able to analyse:

- Thermal responses of structures involving conduction, convection, and radiation
- The response of structures exhibiting special heat transfer phenomena including thermal-stress coupling and phase change.

Course topics include:

- Fundamental Concepts
- Steady State Heat Transfer (no mass transport)
- Additional Considerations for Non-linear Analysis in ANSYS
- Transient Analysis in ANSYS
- Complex, Time & Spatially Varying Boundary Conditions
- Additional Convection / Heat Flux Loading Options and Simple Thermal / --Flow Elements
- Radiation Heat Transfer
- Phase Change Analysis in ANSYS
- The Finite Element Approach to Thermal Analysis

Each course chapter is followed by "hands-on" workshops and exercises
